"American Dreamgarden," considered to be the central creation of American artist Ben South, is a masterwork-in-progress destined to become one of the largest paintings in the history of art in the United State of America.
Scaled at completion to span a commanding 240' wide x 30' high, this hand painted quadtych will create a shimmering garden scene at night with iconic, playfully-overscaled botanicals from "sea to shining sea." Across the peaceful, evening sky the "American Dreamgarden" is blanketed with computer-animated twinkling stars and discreet "stripes" of the names of numerous, American dreamers from the most-celebrated such as Thomas Edison to lesser-well-known but still inspiring Americans such as George Oslin, the creator of the "Singing Telegram" and Ruth Handler, who created many American dreams and jobs as the inventive designer of the "Barbie Doll."
